How do block lists work?

There are two ways to create a block list:

  • From a tweet: input a problematic Tweet and choose to block accounts that retweeted or liked that Tweet
  • From an existing list of accounts: if you or a friend have curated a list of accounts to block, you can copy paste the list and block in bulk

Create a block list from a tweet

First, open the block list panel:

Then, select “NEW BLOCK LIST.”

Next, paste the URL of the Tweet you’d like to use to create the block list.

Select whether you’d like to create a list of accounts that retweeted the Tweet, or liked the Tweet. Block Party will display the first 100 accounts who took that action.

Review the list and choose to delete any accounts you don’t want to block. Once you’re finished, select “BLOCK ALL” and Block Party will block them on your behalf.
